DJ Spryte @ ZEN (5-9-09)

I had this past Saturday night off.  When I looked back through my planner I realized it was my first Saturday off since December so I was more than ready to get stupid.  I called up the crew and we headed out to ZEN Social Club to check out the homie DJ Spryte from Cali (by way of Chi-town).  Spryte's been in town a few times but I've never had the opportunity to hear him do his thing for myself.  Dude killed it.  You can tell from the pictures below that the spot was packed and he had the crowd going bananas.  The highlight of the evening for me was when he dropped ''X Gonna Give It To Ya'' by DMX.  Totally random.  Haven't heard that track in a long time and for some reason it set me right.  I think right around that time our whole posse also went into a Patron frenzy.  Needless to say it was another great night.  My mom even called me out on my wicked hangover the next day when I went home to visit her for Mother's day.  Shouts to Spryte, Digital Dave, Justin Pisano, Joe, Johnny V, Kevin, Rich, Straight Edge Dave, Ryan, Julie and the rest of the Zen team.
