I love to travel. As the weather gets colder in PA, there is nothing better than taking a beach trip. Well actually, the only thing better is when you get a call from a good friend who also happens to be Jimmy Buffet's personal chef and he asks you to come stay at their Palm Beach Mansion for a few days. I've known my friend Matt for many years now. I befriended his younger brother Kevin in college (who I also lived with for many years and who now works on big budget movies in NYC) and became close friends with Matt as well as the rest of his family. To this day I keep in touch with all of them. Matt has been traveling the world cooking for years. His first gig was as the yacht chef for the Chase family (yes, Chase Manhattan Bank), and after that he moved on to working with the Buffet family on their yacht. He spends every year between Palm Beach, The island of St. Barths and the Hamptons. He makes random trips back home to visit friends and family and has crashed at my place almost every time for the past few years. He returned the favor (in a big way) this past week and invited me down to the ''mansion'' for a few days. The funniest part is that I went ahead and booked two smaller gigs (shouts to Mark from Basic Vocab for always looking out for me) in Miami since I was only gonna be an hour or so away, but ended up cancelling them both so I could just enjoy some vacation time. We partied extremely hard, ate good food and I got the opportunity to meet some great people who I plan on keeping in touch with in the future. Here are a few pics...

In between time, Matt and I spent a lot of time out and about in West Palm. Most of the time we were hanging at this great little bar/restaurant called Cucina in Palm beach. The manager Sarah is awesome and welcomed us back each night with shots upon shots. We also frequented the Spearmint Rhino, Bradley's and a bunch of other fun spots in West Palm. Big shouts to all the cool people I met including, Sarah, Paige, Mike, Liz, Camille and Renee.

And one more for good measure haha. No clue how this ended up in my camera...
Thanks for a great trip Matt..
