Pause. Uncle Ray is not my real Uncle. He's just a cool ass dude and a great friend that I've known for about a decade now. I've worked with Ray at a few different establishments in town and he's always been very easygoing. I always look forward to catching up with Ray. His girl threw him a surprise birthday party at the new Mad Mex in Shadyside this year and was kind enough to invite me along with a a few other friends and acquaintances. There were some surprises including an awesome dude making custom balloons for everyone and an amazing video of Ray's early years including his stint as an amazing figure skater which blew my mind. I had heard the stories but never believed. Here's some pics..
