Girls Gone Wild? At Ginger Hill, Slippery Rock University

A few weeks ago I made my way back up to Ginger Hill at Slippery Rock University to rock my monthly Saturday night party. This particular night was special though. With the opening of the new side of S BAR and the mega nightclub WHIM in Pittsburgh, this was unfortunately gonna be my last trip to Ginger Hill on a Saturday for quite some time. Not only that, but there was a series of events that went down which made this night even more crazy.

A week or so prior to this night, the owner Matt and my man Brian the marketing wizard, contacted me to let me know they were gonna bring the infamous Girls Gone Wild party to town. I was fully ready to rock it, being that I had actually done the party a few years back at Club Bash in Pittsburgh. However, a few days before the party went down, Matt got a call from a protest group in Slippery Rock made up of students and faculty and they threatened the bar. They told Matt that if he brought Girls Gone Wild in, they were going to bring 300 protesters to the bar early that day to take up all the space and no one was going to buy a drink! Crazy!

Matt took the threat seriously and cancelled the party and unfortunately lost thousands of dollars in the process. He called me and told me I had to rock it like it was my last gig ever so that's exactly what I did. With the help of Brian, Coors light and about 25 Yager Bombs, we burnt the house down! I didn't get too many pics because I was relentless on the tables (and mic haha) but you can still see some of the action below. Big shout out to Brian (check out the "Protest That'' shirts he had made for the girls to wear) and Matt for always taking care of me and throwing one hell of a college party. Also shouts to all the Slippery Rock students who come out to rock with me every time I make the trip up!
