DJ Nugget @ JET Nightclub | The Mirage | Las Vegas 11.7.09.

This past Saturday I packed my bag and headed out to Vegas again to play at JET Nightclub in the Mirage. My homie DJ SHR3D scooped me up from the airport around noon and we went over to Firefly for quick bite. After that, we hit up my three favorite boutiques in Vegas, KNYEW, Stussy and Undefeated as well as the Forum shops inside Caesars. I hadn't been to KNYEW for almost a year so it was good to run into Kenny who handles the daily operation there. I copped a fresh Crooks and Castles button-up while I was there. I also grabbed a pair of Air Max at Niketown that I had eyeballed a few weeks back.

I was also excited to see that I had made it into the last two issues of 944 Magazine from the previous parties I had played at Hard Rock and The Bank. DJ Nugget - 944 Magazine | Las Vegas | 2009 Holiday Mix

After checking into my room at the Mirage, SHR3D and I just chilled for the remainder of the day. We swapped some music and he introduced me to the new mix from LUDACHRIST which is absolutely banana's. I didn't get much sleep the night before so I was exhausted but couldn't seem to take a nap cause I was too excited to play that night.

After freshening up, we headed downstairs to the club around 11pm. It was already poppin off with a huge line extending into the lobby of the hotel. We met up with DJ Eddie McDonald and he showed us in. After that it was pretty much homies, drinks and good ass music. Eddie introduced me to DJ Klutch who I was already familiar with and a fan of. His 2009 club mixtape was in heavy rotation in my whip for a hot minute earlier this year. DJ Neva (who co-owns the KNYEW store with DJ Crooked) held down the decks before me and blew my mind quite a few times with some hip-hop wordplay mixes. Richard showed up with his lady and I jumped on the decks around midnight. Kozmoe stuck around and partied with us all night as well as EJ, who came through to show love as usual. Next thing I knew, Patron shots were flying all over the place. Let's just say I didn't partake in the after hours festivities at Drais with everyone! I passed out in SHR3D's truck before we got there haha. I missed my 9am flight but wasn't mad at all about sleeping in! Big shouts to everyone I ran into on this trip! Until next time...
